We want to provide you with an update on our Edgemere community and the ongoing health and wellness of our residents and team members amid the COVID-19 pandemic. On Tuesday, May 12, we were informed a Plaza team member tested positive for the virus. This team member had minimal exposure to residents and they have been self-isolating at home since May 2. Our Human Resources team is working with the team member to provide support.
By way of recap, we have one Plaza resident case of COVID-19 and the resident is being cared for in isolation in the Plaza. There are no COVID-19 cases in residential living. And we have two total team member cases of COVID-19, both of whom are self-isolating at home.
